APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF A REDEMPTION AGREEMENT
The Tribunal may be asked to permit a redemption in circumstances prescribed by s 42(2)(e) of the Act where continuation of weekly payments is contrary to the best interest of the worker from a psychological and social perspective. The Tribunal requires a joint application using the form "Application for Approval of a Redemption Agreement". The application will be allocated to a Presidential Member and listed in chambers for a private directions conference. Unless otherwise directed only the worker and his or her representative shall be expected to attend. Further details may be obtained from Practice Direction 7.
