Industrial Referral Agreements
The Statutes Amendment (Public Sector Employment) Act 2006 was assented to on 14 December 2006 and commenced on 1 April 2007. That Act amends the Commercial Arbitration Act 1986 (which is retitled Commercial Arbitration and Industrial Referral Agreements Act 1986) by inserting a new Schedule 1 - Industrial Relations Commission May Act on a Referral of a Matter by Agreement. The Commission's Rules and Forms govern the practice and procedure of the Commission in the performance or exercise of functions or powers conferred by such referral agreements.
